I live in Muizenberg, an amazing little town half an hour from Cape Town away with an amazing beach, cute cafés and it's considered a great surf spot. What more could I ask for?

City Spotlight: Cape Town (and surroundings)
Hey hey, I'm back after my little break! It has been a month now since I came to South Africa and I can't believe how fast time flies. I have discovered and seen some much here and I can tell you, I love this country and totally understand the passion people feel about Cape Town.

Tips for taking a Gap Year
Saturday, 17 January 2015
You are crazy for taking a Gap Year!
Around this time two years ago I had suddenly this idea in my head and nobody could get it out again. My friends laughed at me saying it was a total waste of time; my parents looked at me as if I was a bit of a weirdo, but they accepted it in the end. I wanted to take a Gap Year and there was nothing that could change that.
Deciding to take a year off between school and university (or whenever you want to do it) is a big step and involves a hell of a lot of power of persuasion, organisation skills, time and money. So, after I graduated, I did not throw myself into the university-application-madness, but rather into a 'ah hell, what should I do now?'-one.

Best from London
London and shopping... on one hand it's amazing, there are so many stores that we don't have in Spain, but on the other hand it's very expensive and I always ended up spending my money on other things (there are too many pubs there... you can't avoid them). But I still got a few things, I did for example a Boots Haul, and these are my favourite buys from my time spend in beautiful London!
